Cafe Morso is tucked away down past Star City Casino. We weren't quite sure where the place was, so we took the scenic route and the little walk around the docks yielded some pretty awesome views of the harbour bridge. The place itself is very small, and packed to the gills, but with beautiful views over the water. The rather limited menu is offset by the fact that the food is amazing. I went with the Orange pancakes with berry coulis and yoghurt. The pancakes were soft and fluffy with just a hint of crispness and tasted deliciously citrussy (is that a word? It is now!), without any of the tartness or stringiness you get from orange-rind based flavouring. The coffee was excellent and the service was exemplary.

Morso (Which, frankly, I've been tempted to write as Moreso every time I type it) is also available as a venue for private dining experiences, and with the quiet locale and beautiful harbour views I imagine the place would be quite magical.

I really liked this place. The location was awsome...right on the water and less crowded and with a more 'local' feel than Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. Great views and it would have scored higher (definite X factor for the views) had we been seated outside. Unfortunately this place was pretty crowded and all the free tables had 'reserved' signs on them. We were seated inside at a small table in a corner as we had not booked. Having said that the food was amazing. I had a souffle with bacon on the side and a bowl of hot chocolate. The service was OK and the interior decor was quite nice. I'd definitely like to come here again but this time I would book and request an outside table with views.

Beautiful view, and an absolute winner during summer. This place is super busy regardless of season and it's not surprising. The menu (which is seasonal) is always fresh and interesting and the coffee (when it arrived) was decent too. The fruit mocktails are an especially nice touch in warmer weather, and look out for the banana pancakes with coconut milk and papaya. They're totally to die for!

I love this place! It has stunning views, being right on the beach front...great on a nice warm summer's day. They have gorgeous fruit mocktails served in cocktail glasses and great food. It's got more of a restaurant feel than a cafe and it's a bit pricey for breakfast but a lovely place to come every now and again especially in summer. Today as usual the food was great but the service not up to usual standards. The people on the table next to us ordered after us and were served before us and we had to ask where the food and coffees had got to. We had a group of 4 today so things were a bit different from our usual breakfast outings!

Bittons has great waiters and the food is really excellent. There is a shop that you can buy produce from as well. I really enjoyed my one-pan eggs and bacon, and was especially impressed they remembered my request for 'well-done'. This wasn't our best visit but their level of service is consistently decent.

Another busy place. I've never booked but you usually have to line up and wait for maybe 5 or 10 minutes. The food is normally pretty good BUT I was deeply disappointed today when my eggs benedict arrived and the eggs weren't runny! I love eggs benedict and this totally ruins it! The coffee is good here too and it's a family friendly place with a cute play area outside for little ones.

I had the Belgian waffles with stewed rhubarb and it was pretty awesome. Definitely a fight to keep everything on the teeny tiny tables, but a good menu and decent food. Coffee wasn't too bad either!

Don't judge a book by it's cover...not much to look at from the outside but they had lovely food and it was much larger than we first thought - stretching back inside and leading out onto a courtyard. I have to say I liked the menu and the food I ordered was great. I had some very tasty porridge, haloumi and bacon. This place was let down by the fact that you had to line up and order at the bar and the tables were so tiny it was a real juggling act to keep all our food on them! Interesting design on the outside of the toilets...

Trio is one of my favourite Sydney breakfast spots. The views over Bondi beach are stunning, the coffee is great, and the service is spot on, so it's not surprising that you have to book in advance.  I don't think I've ever had something I didn't enjoy on the menu, and every dish is presented beautifully. Well worth the wait.

Anna Says...
This place is always super-busy and you either have to book or walk in and wait maybe 1/2 an hour. The parking around here is also hard to find being very close to the beach. Having said that, it's a quality place where you know you will have good food, service and (if you are outside or at a window table) lovely views of Bondi Beach. There is standard breakfast fare like eggs benedict and other interesting things like the mango and lime pancakes (which were very tasty!). Lovely and reliable!
